The feature is simple. At the rear is the clean water tank, at the front is a handle to help carry this heavy-duty vacuum cleaner weighing almost 5 kg. Below the handle is the 560w engine and the waste bin, which includes a pleated filter.

The brush in the suction area is protected by a plastic cover that integrates the water jet circuit for cleaning with water usage LEDs.

The head is a 60° swivel head and includes a wheel system for ease of movement and a lock so that the CrossWave can be safely dropped. The power cord is connected through the rear and must be wrapped around the appropriate handles on the CrossWave. The bissell crosswave reviews will help you up in this case.

The box that comes with the CrossWave, which is not fully assembled, also comes with a multi-surface cleaning detergent bottle, a vacuum cleaner base, and a brush holder for drying.

Cleaning Modes

CrossWave is prepared to wipe off any dirt, from simple everyday trash (the dust, sand we bring from the street on our shoes or animal hair) to the trash you would never normally subject. any other household appliance to clean, such as spilled milk, the dropped soup bowl or even the broken egg on the floor.

With the combination of vacuuming and cleaning, almost in one pass can eliminate this waste and wash any floor, as long as it is a sealed floor. Then a new passage without water is enough to dry the area.

In the case of carpet, there is a cleaning mode that is triggered by clicking on the “Rug” button on the handle. With this cleaning mode more water and detergent are spent. The carpets will already need more than one pass for the result to be perfect, yet the cleaning results are very good indeed. Unfortunately, CrossWave is not recommended for use with longer fur as they may get caught in the spinning brush.

CrossWave Maintenance

Cleaning the vacuum itself is essential after each use, especially if it includes washing with water. Therefore, at the end you should remove the waste container, the roller brush and the roller cover and wash all these elements with running water and, if necessary, a mild detergent. The filter can also be washed with water and should dry naturally.

The brush should be the first element to be removed and washed, but before that you should keep the vacuum cleaner working for a few minutes in a clean area so that it gets as much dirt as possible from the roller. At the end of washing, so that it dries faster, it may be subjected to the same process.

Cleaning the tank may not be the most pleasant due to the garbage that gets deposited mixed with water. Note that this deposit has a float that indicates when the deposit should be dumped.

Verdict

After a few days of cleaning with CrossWave, there is no doubt that this is an excellent ally in household cleaning, mainly because with just one piece of equipment, 3 or 4 common cleaning tools are done at one time. Keeping carpets free of dirt is another major advantage.

Still, there are aspects that should be improved, namely the noise and the weight of the vacuum cleaner itself. One thing that I consider to be a disadvantage is that it needs to be used still connected to the mains instead of having a battery with the wire very close to the suction zone. Besides being able to get dirty easily, it still hinders the movement. The cable length did not interfere with use. Please note that CrossWave has some limitations for cleaning corners or under furniture, and cleaning the vacuum itself is not as pleasant to do as described above.
